BIG LEAP
From a banking career to being
a singer...many considers this a BIG JUMP, but to me,
it was something that I had to do. And then from a singer...to
a freelance graphic designer and writer. Many considers
this to be something only people who are fickled do,
but to me, this is what I had to do to find out the
person that I am, what I made of and made for.
I
have absolutely no respect for people without a backbone.
I certainly feel that for the lacklustre lifestyle that
most of us are living, is it worth it to actually be
bored to death worrying about other peoples' dreams.
But sure enough, that's what I used to do everyday,
in and out, round and round the clock. I feared being
late more than death itself, and in the end, it made
me sit down and think about the actual meaning of living.
If I had to continue living that life, I would rather
not have lived at all.

FULFILLMENT
Of course, not everything
was rosy but to tell you the truth, I still can't believe
I didn't do it sooner. Yeah, there comes the uncertainty,
the doubts and the debt chasing. But freelancing gives
me so much more fullfillment than I can ever wish for.

THE REASON
Then, of course, people
who look at me and ask me what my background is will
ask me the inevitable question - but why? And I ask
them back, "But why not?". The real reason
is so that I can be with my kids more. I have 2 wonderful
kids that I love like crazy. I would do anything to
be with them more during their growing years

THE NOW
Now, I work from home
as a graphic designer and writer...tutor, mother, daughter,
daugther-in-law, wife and I love it. There's nothing
in the world I would rather be doing.
